Story

BlackKnight Ace Badminton Centre is located at Richmond, near Bridgeport Skytrain station and Oak Bridge.

The centre uses a three-level flooring system which includes, wooden floor, anti-shock cushion, and soft plastic. This professional tournament use floor effectively help lessen the possibility of getting injured from badminton.

The centre has 12 official badminton courts and lighting to give the customer the best possible environment to enjoy the sport.

We have a strong badminton coaching team. Our coaches has successfully cultured many high level athletes (including BC and National Champion). We have opened many group lessons that are suitable for different ages and level of players. In addition, we also provide court bookings and drop-in time for customers.

This is just awesome. Great place to play badminton quite open and big. Lots of Courts. But I have to say don’t use the washroom - it is just pathetic. I mean this is not normal times - the washroom should be twice as clean. Moreover they don’t have sanitizers near any courts which is kind of unsafe for everyone. Rest is fine
The front desk’s service is bad and they ask your credit card for reservation…. Ridiculous
Update: As time has gone on, Ace has fallen behind the other courts in terms of playing conditions hard wood floors, courts are quite compact, and has poor ventilation so it gets really hot. I still come every once and a while to play, bit the hard wood floors hurt the feet while not being as grippy as say a hard gym floor. Reduced from 4 star to 3 star. Also space for equipment is small so almost everyone puts their belongings in the centre bench area. Incredibly easy to get stuff stolen or confused by someone else. Has gotten a lot more popular over the years and now it's hard to have a court to your group for the entire drop in period on weekends. Prices have consistently gone up so get a punch-card if you come often. The change rooms are very small. The play arena is decently large, there's no heating there either that or they don't turn it on, and the floor is decently soft, but still quite hard.
Good parking and a lot of space for play. Book here if you need hobby indoor in Richmond.
Played with some friends for the first time here. Very large facility that can hold a lot of games. The bathrooms are a bit dirty.. and the mirrors are angled very poorly.. people can peep inside the change rooms Very cute bunnies live outside at the back for your losing streak therapy
One of the most spacious gym with average rate: 27/h. Easy to book if you have a membership.
The floor is hard, courts are a bit closer to each other, lighting is ok, convenient parking space, customer service is very bad; worst of all, they need your credit card number to book a court seriously. Prefer this when you can't book elsewhere!
Rates are reasonable, although shuttles are not included in the rental fees. Also, for some reason, they need your credit card info over the phone to book a court. The staff is very unprofessional and uncaring. Called about a lost item worth 500$ and the girl on the phone could not stop laughing. It was so difficult to talk to her as she did not understand what we were trying to say and neither did she make any sense as she kept asking us about calling for booking a court? We tried calling in later to talk to a different staff member but we got the same reaction. They really need to work on their customer service skills and need to be more considerate.
Used to be our community get-together spot, those of us older folks who enjoy playing badminton and still able to. We have recently made the decision to not go anymore as it has clearly violated the social distancing rule for the obvious reason, making revenue. It was always getting more popular but it's different this time around. Rates are reasonable for sure. We would considering opting in again when the COVID19 situation improves.
The Washroom is the worse place in all badminton centers.
