I had the good fortune of getting my taxes done by Martin Paradis. Within a short amount of time he simplified what was a very challenging and convoluted tax file, one that required a major cleanup. He was extremely efficient, organized, punctual and knowledgeable, and responded to all of my queries quickly, at any time of the day. He is a dedicated professional who clearly cares about doing the best job for his clients, and the enormous help he provided lightened what was initially a stressful situation. Martin is professional, easy to work with and very organized. I learned a lot from Martin as he is thorough, patient, and easy to work with. He gets 2 stars because of the outrageous pricing. He is a great accountant in that he will account for every second spent on your file and make sure you pay for it was charged over $600 for emails alone. I have no doubt he did my return perfectly but I was able to save a ton by going through J&D Tax Services even the base price of J&D is less than a third of what Martin charges. I wrote this review so others can be informed before walking into this. Edited: After being contacted by Martin, I wanted it to be clear that he does a great job and also removed some details about total charges. I also want to state I never brought up the charges with him or complained.
