This is a great place to eat. A casual, order at the counter kind of place with booths and tables to seat at indoors and picnic tables outdoors. We had the seafood chowder, lobster roll and fries. All of the portions were generous see picture and the food was very good. Also fast and friendly service.
Went with my boyfriend last night it was our first time going there. The food was amazing and the service was amazing, I didn’t catch the woman’s name who served us but she went above and beyond for us and made our first time experience a memorable one. We definitely will be returning again. Ordered the two-piece fish and chips as well as a fish chowder to go we sat in to eat our food, the fish was bigger than I was expecting. I will be recommending Acadian Fish and Chips to my family and friends for dinner
I ordered a seafood platter for takeout. Everything was still hot and tasty when I picked it up. The platter is really enough for two people, with two large pieces of fish, a nice size of clams and 4 scallops. Friendly service.
This place has amazing food, excellent service in a beautiful wooden house. The staff is incredibly friendly. We ordered the clam and chips and the lobster roll. The clam and chips are the best in Halifax! The portion size is huge too! I highly recommend this place, and it will definitely be my go-to seafood restaurant from now on. I also noticed that their one-piece fish is made from a very large fish, like half of the haddock, unlike other places that call a quarter piece of haddock a one piece. The quality and portion sizes here are truly impressive.
Ordered the two piece fish and chips and was surprised to see how large the pieces were. The food was hot and fresh, the service was exceptional and far exceeded my expectations. I will certainly be back to try everything on the menu.
