I broke a tooth on Saturday and they were able to bring me in on Monday. Eric did a great job and his assistant was excellent. I need to get a crown on this tooth and I look forward to their excellent care to do the job.
Will never go back here for my dental care. Was told and asked they got a quote for me before coming in and they told me I was good and had my one cleaning covered.. was not accurate. If you are going to tell someone something when it comes to their money you should probably give them all the info instead of calling saying they have an outstanding bill. I'll be permanently taking my business elsewhere.
We took our 2 year old daughter for her first dental exam. From the receptionist to the hygienist Lindsay and to our dentist Tara, they all provided an excellent and positive experience for my child. My husband and I were both anxious on how our baby will respond to their treatment since it was her first time but everyone involved were very reassuring and professional. We would 100% recommend!!!
This is the WORST dental clinic I have ever been to. They literally spent less than 10 minutes cleaning my teeth and applying a little flouride, and took a couple of x-rays, then charged $460, and told me AFTER the treatment that I owed $260 of the bill. But before the treatment I asked about my coverage, and they just told me to not worry, because I had coverage. They made it sound like the whole treatment was covered. When I asked why it wasn't pre-authorized and I wasn't told in advance what I would need to pay beyond my coverage, they took no responsibility for their mistake and just insisted that I pay and leave. It was a trap - a big bill for virtually nothing, and I can see from other reviews here that I'm not the only one. Watch out - crooked dentists are out there. They're exposed on shows like W5, and Marketplace, and Otter Point definitely seems like that kind of dental clinic.
Excellent team! I have dental anxiety and I felt totally calm during my appointment. They also have sedation if needed. Beautiful clean office! Highly recommend :
Dr. Tara is the best dentist I have ever had! She is considerate, and puts the needs of the patient 1st wherever possible. Sarah is amazing too! I have never had anything short of amazing experiences with them. I don’t even live in Sooke anymore, I drive out from Victoria. I wouldn’t even consider another dental office. Thank you for consistently making dentals visits awesome!
I visited Otter Point Dental for the first time today since moving to Sooke more than a year ago. They were super friendly and professional. They explained everything clearly and did a very thorough cleaning. Glad to have found them and highly recommend their service!
I am extremely pleased with the service and treatment I received at Otter Point Dental from Dr. Eric and his assistants. They were very friendly, explaining the procedure and making sure I was comfortable. Excellent results and done in a timely fashion! I cannot say enough wonderful things about this practice. My entire family, including children, go here and receive the kindest and gentlest cleanings. My daughter had a terribly traumatic experience at a DIFFERENT dentist office years ago and Dr. Tara and the dental hygienists at this practice have absolutely healed my daughter and reinstated trust and a positive attitude about going to the dentist. I’m so grateful to have found them! 100% recommended!
The dentist saw my 2.5 year old on short notice as I was concerned about a small problem area. This was her first time to a dentist and they did a FANTASTIC job with her. The staff were all so lovely and great at making this an enjoyable first time for her. My daughter came home excited about having been to the dentist and my concerns were all addressed. I would highly recommend this practice for small kids!
