Absolute Dollar

Neat and organized. Not everything in a dollar but this is absolutely a great dollar store. Big store with lots of variety. Staff are friendly and nice. I found a few good items this evening.

Rude customer service by the lady . Her name is MALA . In front of me she started fight with two customers before me. She is so arrogant and don’t know who to deal with employees as well . I made a complaint before also they delete my review. Please owner should take a strong step otherwise she will down your business.

Good price for many things; I buy all my snacks here. However, I’ve bought some bottles of lemonade that I later found out were actually covered in dust… Looks like they’d been left somewhere for a very long time… Also need to make a minimum purchase of $5 before you can use a credit card- not ideal for running in to quickly grab something.

Carries no groceries other than candy. Much better prices on stationary than Staples next door. Staff have poor English and seem not to know their way around. Amazing range of articles needed for the home. This store is always worth a look, whatever you need.

A conveniently located interesting store. It is a dollar store after all, but I always find some decent quality stuff for the very low price. I picked up a pencil box for $1.50 and found the staple carries similar and worse product for $4 right next door. They also carries something you cannot find at Dollarama and they even have a balloon centre. I wish there are more parking space at the mall but that is not the shop's fault. I also wish the staff would be more friendly but they are absolutely not less friendly than other dollar chains and actually usually pretty helpful.

Terrible service , I went there today at 6:02 the doors will still open and customers were being served at the cash ! I asked for some balloons for a new baby on its way home from the hospital . The one of 3 workers at the counter could not make eye contact or speak but certainly could shake her head left and right to say NO!! I actually said please I really need a few I’ll even take the ones that were already on display that were pink ! all the woman could do was continuously shake her head to say NO! One of the three staff acknowledged my passionate request , however couldn’t make the decision. Ms??? If you were the owner that was RUDE customer service, if you weren’t the owner may I suggest some of your staff could benefit from some customer service training to improve their communication skills ! All the best to you all and your store, however be assured I will tell many people about my dissatisfying experience!!

Located inside Gerard Square upstairs. Although most of these places need a name change, as you well know you can't get nothing for a dollar anyone. But you still can get a good deal on a bunch of useful items.

I've been going to Absolute Dollar for over a decade. They have a better inventory than your typical dollar store, especially the big privately held one despite the fact that they are a much smaller operation. But, their wares are still dollar store quality for the most part.

This store has everything. Unique finds, everytime I come here. Tons of options to choose. Theres a row for birthday/ party supplies here too. From containers, picture frames,extra cords, light bulbs, etc.

When asked if I had debit or cash I was advised that a minimum purchase of $5 was necessary. I asked to speak to a manager. None were there, a supervisor then told me $4. I'm buying an item for $2.85. An upsell of $1.15 to not cover costs with range from 25 cents to a percentage of the purchase cost? Lol. No. So, three bad reviews. Empower your people or show up to manage your store folks. Or expect several more bad reviews.
