ABC Dental is amazing. My children have had all their cleanings, one child has Autism and anxiety and they have been so patient with him since birth-even when he had to have 9 baby teeth extracted! Everything they do demonstrates their caring and sincere intention of making dental work effective, efficient and non-threatening for children. They have a clear goal of helping children be able to go to the dentist now and for the rest of their lives without too much anxiety! My 7 year old had a tooth that needed pulling over Christmas and they got us in right away with care from Dr. Gill via text/call over the holidays to ensure my son wasn’t getting worse. Infections in children can progress quickly, so I appreciated her wisdom, advice and caring help VERY much. Thank you again , ABC dental!!!
I cannot say enough about the pediatric dentists at ABC dental in Mission! My son fell face first at school more than a year ago. His chin and mouth area turned blue and the bruising was terrible. Over time, his tooth started to darken and we kept an eye on it. A couple of weeks ago his lip started to swell and I thought he was hit playing hockey with his siblings, but the bump didn't really, fully go away. Another week passed and an abscess formed. We took him to our family dentist who thought a referral was necessary. Dr. Dewji at ABC was an instant hit with my son. He knows kids and parents inside out. They have movie rooms for kids when they need to discuss the important parts with parents, and when kids are getting sleepy from sedation, or waking up. I felt supported, informed and prepared for every part of today. Can't rave enough!!!
My 3 year old had an accident a couple of years ago resulting in him being awake for two extractions elsewhere. Because of this, he’s been terrified of me even mentioning the dentist. After his first appointment with ABC he said “I want to go to this dentist all the time”. I’m so thankful for how patient and gentle they were with him.
I had a great experience. I am so glad that I have trustworthy doctor for my kids. He has done all in one day treatment which is really good for the kids and parents.I really recommend ABC dental to all parents for their children.
My daughter and I just had the best experience dealing with all the staff at ABC Dental. My daughter had a pretty big surgery recently infact yesterday and I can't say it enough on how happy we were with the staff and the follow up that night from the ladies at the front desk. The lovely ladies at the front desk were so helpful and kind to my daughter and myself. DR Lee was so friendly and caring to my daughter, she said she felt safe. All the staff made my daughter fell completely comfortable and safe. I would 100% recommend this place. To top it all off I believe her name was Karen she was so helpful to my situation. Thank you for this amazing service Its hard to find a great place in any situation where there is great service. So again thank you. Sarah Antonishyn
I would not recommend this dentist to anyone. The care during the procedure was not in question - they were excellent with my son, and he was comfortable during the process. Unfortunately where the care of their patients may be great, their prices are very high, with administration and accounting that is inferior! My son's father was provided a quote during a consult that occurred on March 3 which stated, between both our benefits, $0 would be paid. After the procedure, on April 28, I was asked to pay over $1200. They never submitted a pre-determination to either of our benefit providers, which would have confirmed what was covered, and I would have happily paid the $303 balance and submitted that immediately to his third benefits provider. When we called to question why we had to pay, despite the quote suggesting we didn't have to, we were told, 'in their experience benefits never cover the whole amount' and they required payment of their estimated value that wouldn't be covered. There was no explanation as to why a pre-determination was not submitted from the consult 2 months prior. We were never advised this at the time of the quote, nor were we offered the option to pay in full and submit the documents ourselves for reimbursement. It took them 2 weeks to submit the documents to the first benefits provider. Today is 76 days since the procedure, and they STILL have not submitted all of the information to the second benefits provider which we advised them 1.5 months ago was required within 60 days of the procedure due to a change in benefits providers. We have called dozens of time; we either sit on hold and are forgotten about, the office manager is unavailable or we are brushed off and given excuses. We were able to speak with an office manager twice, and were advised this was going to be remedied. On June 30 during a follow-up conversation we were advised that all the documents had been submitted the previous week. They have proven to continually make undelivered promises; as of July 8th, the benefits provider had no record of the remaining procedures that occurred during our visit, and allowed me to submit electronically which was submitted on the 8th and approved in 1 business day, on July 11th. Had I paid the full value myself, I would have been fully reimbursed within 5 business days of the date of the visit, from 3 benefit providers. Overall, their accounting and administration team has provided detrimentally unprofessional service; they lack knowledge of the procedures for their industry as far as billing and accounting, and continually demonstrate an inability to follow through with their promises. There has been zero accountability or responsibility for their inferior customer service. We will most certainly be taking our business somewhere else and recommend everyone to do the same. 8/22: 116 days since the procedure and I still have not been repaid.
My son Noah, 11, recently had a dental surgery at ABC dental…days later, all he remembers is how kind, caring, funny the staff was! When we arrived, we had a good laugh because my son accidentally wore my pink Victoria secrets slippers instead of his That set the tone!! He was so nervous and they so easily put him at ease! When the dental nurses came to get him, I was able to go with him! We had our own little private room with a comfy place for Noah to lay down and Netflix! Noah was checked and given a special drink to be more comfortable and we watched Netflix for about an hour… the nurses took their time to explain everything, Noah got a cool toy and then went for a good sleep while the dentist took care of his teeth. The staff kept checking on me and updated me on the surgery. After the procedure, we went back to the room and were able to stay as much as Noah needed, The nurses were just fantastic! I wish I had the same experience as a child! Later in the day, I received a call from the dental office to make sure everything was going well for Noah. They provided me with 2 phone numbers I could call at anytime day or night if I had any concerns. Noah experienced no pain, did not need any medication and thanks to this fantastic dental office, Noah has no fear of going back if needed one day. I was really impressed how they managed to turn a dental procedure into a good memory! When Noah was asked how he was doing back at home, first thing he said was «  they were sooo nice, I didn’t feel anything! We watched the floor is lava while cuddling with mom, it was awesome!! »… that says it all! Thank you so much for everything ABC dental! You guys go above and beyond, fantastic team!
We were referred here by our regular family dentist for our 8 year old son for a consultation on a small procedure that they though may be required. I paid in advance for the consultation as they were not sure if covered by extended medical, and was told by receptionist I would be refunded if covered. My son went for his consultation, where my son mother was told that the procedure was not required, by he did need other dental work, which I have been told was estimated to be around $4000.00! We had been told our son may need some other work by our family dentist, which was not even near a quarter of the figure given by ABC. After the consultation I received notification from my extended health provider that the consultation was covered, and I waited for a call to pick up my refund. After two weeks I called ABC to enquire as to the status of the refund, only to be told at this time that I had to wait until they had received payment from my health care provider, and then I would be issued a refund cheque. That conversation was over a week ago, and I have yet to get my refund. If I had been informed of this refund policy when I paid I would of just claimed directly through my provider and got my refund deposited directly into my bank account in 3-5 days. Following poor experience this I am very skeptical to return here, and would definitely rather go to our family dentist, who are fantastic with children.
Definitely worth the money. My daughter isn’t the best with the dentist and they were so kind and gentle with her. I will only bring my kids here from now on as no one needs a negative experience when they are little.
We had a terrible experience here! We definitely felt like our family's needs and thoughts were not being considered, and they were just there to bill as much $ as they could. They were very condescending and rude towards our concerns about using anesthesia on our child.
