Place was not Abby's pizza. Pretty sure I was catapulted into some time warp. Spent 135.00 on pizza, sandwiches, jos, and wings. Couldn't even order the Italian sandwich because the man running the cash register said "I don’t have that button on the register so you can't order it." Food all came out at different times, they forgot food and, when asked about it they told us to show the receipt. The salad we ordered we had to ask for it 3 times. Quality of all food was sub par. See the sandwich, no meat on half and looks like it was tossed in the box by a third string quarterback. Staff were rude and not even an ounce of friendly. I could've got by and understood overworked staff although I counted as many staff as customers and the staff was on their phones one behind the counter and one in the kitchen. Definitely need some changes here.
Great place, staff and pizza. I ordered the chicken taco personal. It was just what I needed. Not to much just right for a dinner. Pizza crust is my favorite crunchy. No problem ordering on line. No wait when I went to pick up.
Usually this place is pretty awesome! Today was disappointing. I placed an order for pickup for 1 order of wings. I was told to pick it up in 20 minutes. When I got there, I paid and proceeded to wait for 45 minutes!! I asked multiple times how long it'll be and each time was told just a few more minutes. If it's gonna take an hour, please just tell me over the phone so that I don't waste my time waiting at the restaurant. Hopefully next time will be better.
Got two pizza's for a small company lunch and everyone was satisfied! Added fresh tomatoes on the top and they did not skimp. Pizzas were cooked well and toppings piled on.
Food was fine but the service was not great. It took 45 minutes to get our food, they messed up the order and had to make a new pizza, forgot the salad we ordered.
I've been coming here for pizza since I was a little kid in the 80s and early 90s. Moved to Texas several years ago and back for a brief visit and had to return to Abby's for a friends and family get together! Absolutely my favorite pizza and incredibly nostalgic dining experience! Thank you for all the fun memories over the years!Food: 5/5
This specific location is one of the best! Lives up to it's old values as far as the pizza during covid 19... The manager Paul is a sweet guy and reminds me of the Swedish chef from the Muppets. The toppings here are very generous, the pizza sauce is sassy with taste, while the deep dish crust makes a perfect handle to accommodate handing. I'm a sauce guy, so extra sauce is my thing. Being a truck driver from Southern California I make it a point when I come through this area to stop here just for the Pizza. I really miss the spaghetti that Abbys used to serve back in the 90s. Their spaghetti sauce was something very close to heavenly for me. If I could tern back time and just enjoy their spaghetti once more....I could die satisfied with no unfinished business. If you get a chance to try this pizza I highly recommend it. A small slice of heaven. I mean they even have red bell peppers as a topping. That is a rarity in itself. Fun Fact: Albert "Abby" Broughton the founder of the chain used to work at Shakeys Pizza of California in Roseburg as a teenager in the 60s. I knew Great Pizza begat GREAT Pizza
The pizza was great, but the service and the cleanliness of the restaurant was absolutely abysmal. The young woman at the counter was beyond rude and unhelpful. I felt like i was interrupting her day. I will not be returning to this location. I'll drive the extra 30 miles to the one in Dallas, or even Oregon City. If you have to go here, bring your own pizza cutter, cause the good Lord knows they can't seem to do it with the ones they have. Next visit was about the same. None of the employees smile at all, and I couldn't yell if the guy at the counter hated me specifically, or just his job overall. I probably won't be back for a good long while. Wheelchair accessibility: This place is absolutely NOT wheelchair friendly.
Stopped to get pizza after our baseball game in Woodburn. Parking lot full and open Sign on. Even called to verify open still about three to five min prior to getting there. Stood in line for about 5 min only to be told they are not taking any more orders because they are too busy already. So annoyed!!! Shut the sign off and don't lie on thr phone then!!!!!! Never again
Ordered online. When we arrived, the food was not ready, but they took our payment and we sat down to wait. After 20 minutes more, we went up to check and it turned out our food had been done for a while, but they didn't all our names. Then it turned out that the website had allowed us to order garlic knots, which this location does not serve. They had collected our payment, but not let us know about the error. When we asked, they offered garlic bread instead. We accepted and sat down to eat our pizza which was already half cold. After finishing our pizza without any follow up about the garlic bread, we asked again and found they had never put the order in to be cooked. At this point, we were really irritated. They offered to refund the cost of the garlic knots, but never apologized for the mistakes or terrible service. I love Abby's pizza, but we will not be going back to this location.
