Are there any police out in Abbotsford? Every time I come out here I see about seven accidents waiting to happen because people are texting and driving—they're all over the road. I see that the times I visit...and I have never seen a cop. It's not just texting and driving either, the worst drivers are in Abbotsford.
I am very concerned about the state of Abbotsford. The city seems to be overwhelmed with homelessness, and it’s affecting safety and daily life. People are openly sleeping and walking anywhere, stealing shopping carts and even e-bikes from balconies. Stores that pay rent can’t even keep their verandas safe, as homeless individuals treat them like their own space. Random tents are popping up in more and more areas, making some streets feel unsafe. For visitors or tourists, this is a concerning and unpleasant experience. The city council needs to take stronger action to manage homelessness and ensure public safety.
