It’s a delight coming down to Abbotsford to see certain shows and games. I’ve often been surprised by the big name talent that plays and entertains here as opposed to Vancouver. We’ve seen some globally famous acts here like The Cult, Stone Temple Pilots, Bush, Jeff Dunham, and more. The parking is decent and the venue is well laid out. The food is better than average for a venue of this nature, although it could improve. Ultimately, we’ve always had a good time at Abbotsford Centre. I’d rate it 4.5 out of 5 if I could but I’ve put 5 as the default.
Great place to enjoy events. Loved the staff for guiding us to our seat. Food court has Great options. They also server milk as well. Enjoyed the event was out from the parking lot fairly quickly. Would definitely come here for future events without any issues. Entrance was pretty close to entry gates so don't have to walk a lot. However there is parking charges but I am sure it's just depend on what kind of event is going on. I have paid $12/event parking.
We were at the AHL game and had a great time. It was our first hockey game in the building and we found it great for viewing. It didn't look as though there were any bad seats due to the layout. The building was very clean and the staff were friendly and welcoming. The concourse and food and beverage outlets were plentiful and quick and easy to use. There is an abundance of parking that leaves you with only a short walk to gates to enter from.
First time watching concert here. It's big enough of a venue and one thing I noticed about it is the chairs. Definitely better chair than the Vancouver Arena, yes! You heard me right!. I found it better. It's just my opinion. So, I watched the AQUA, Jenny of ACE OF BASE, 2 UNLIMITED and VEGABOYS and that was so much fun! The Haddaway and Eiffel didn't show up though due to covid positive. This concert was supposed to be last year but because of the pandemic it got can canceled. I hope they come back here again with of course hlthe Haddaway and Eiffel.
We are all Canucks!! A 'homey' and great atmosphere always at this stadium and an awesome new home for the Abbortsford Canucks AHL Hockey team at fantastic value for money to watch great quality grass-roots hockey. In regards to the stadium, they do severely lack the amount of recycling and compost dispensaries which needs to improve for sure and is an easy fix. It would also be great if a vendor producing good quality vegetarian food or even a wider extended menu could be introduced. I know it's stadium food, but the veggie burger massively sucked although the fries were yum! The panago unfortunately only offers one veggie based pizza slice and is not dairy-free cheese as per the actual established chains. Support local communities!
Event parking staff are now subcontracted and, when I asked where to find the handicapped parking, she sent me to the wrong place and we ended up parked almost as far away as we possibly could have been. Not specifically the Centers fault, but they're responsible for whomever they employ, so they get the bum rating. Actual inside staff were lovely.
Went to a hockey game in one of the box suites. Staff were amazing they gave excelent service. The food was amazing, try the hot wings and ribs they were excellent. The only thing i wish was better was the liqour selection.. but other than that it was a great night had by all..
We saw the Skillet concert last night and my family had a great time. The concession food portions were good and the stage set up was perfect. Even though we were in an arena, it felt like a more intimate concert the way they had set it up. Everyone working there had smiles and something positive to say. The concert was excellent, great sound and mixing. It was a great way to spend the Family Day weekend, Saturday night!
Great Facility, great hockey. Very good value. Lose 1 star due to sound system quality. Can't understand a word on the PA.
Huge place. Went there for NHL Abby Canucks vs Colorado Eagles. Oh! What a game. It was really fun and so many eating and drinking options. Had a great time.
