Extremely delicious pizza! We got one of the vegan options, the Winston, without olives and with daiya vegan cheese. It was loaded with fresh veggies, and had a lovely wood-fired, crispy thin crust. The serving size was very generous. Can't recommend this local pizzeria enough!
We went for dinner 30 min after of closure and they don’t attend us, nothing special in comparison with other restaurants I. The area where we were not welcome neither. Anyways, we give them a second opportunity and come back the net day. Wow! … first incredible thing is a post it in the menu: “Price will vary” this is totally illegal. Prices must be visible and it is mandatory to respect them…. The woman who attend us was nice, polite, friendly… but the young boy working on site was totally discourteous. Plates are made on cardboard, no cutlery was brought to us and glasses are recycled and very uneasy to use. Food was ok, but nothing special for the price. In my opinion too expensive for the food quality. Beer cold as requested, this was nice. This is a place for not repeating in our case.
The pizza were so delicious! We got margherita and spicy salami 14". Both were really good! The crust was perfect, a little smoky in a good way, on the thinner side and is very light...you can easily TASTE it was made from scratch. The tomato sauce was very fresh and the rest of the ingriends were very tasty!! It is a pizza made with LOVE. I will definitely eat at Abbondanza again.
We came here on a Friday night whilst staying in Ucluelet, and were warmly welcomed to order and have a seat. Pizza was great, very large portions and they definitely don’t skimp on the toppings. We had a margherita and a diavola pizza for our family of 4 with small children, and had four slices leftover for lunch the next day and got to enjoy it again. Definitely worth a visit, come early as they do get very busy with orders, it’s a popular spot for good reason
Best pizza in Ukee! Music is kinda loud in the restaurant but indoor seating is really small anyways. The salad special is a great balance!
This place is incredible! The people who work here are the sweetest, and the pizza is delicious. We got the spicy salami, margherita, and the haleonis fungi. They also gave us homemade cannoli and it was sooo good! Highly recommend and worth a visit :
Cute little place. Delicious fire roasted pizza! And also the staff are super nice and friendly. Would definitely come back again.
The flavour of the sourdough crust is A+. Their topping combos and options are unique and work well. Size of pizza was a bit smaller than expected, and the wait time was quite long… they told me 10 mins and then made me wait outside another 40 extra mins…
Don't expect this to be a normal pizza joint. Yes, this is the best pizza in Ucluelet dare I say, best on Vancouver Island?. Wood fire oven, amazing dough and great sauces. Buuut... expect the hours of operation to be unreliable and wait times can range 30 minutes to two hours.
As someone that has eaten a lot of pizza over the years I can honestly say this is a top 10 pizza. The sauce is full of tomato flavour but low in acidity. The sourdough crust is full of flavour which makes me wish for more crust just to get more of it. The meatball pie I had was top notch and loaded with juicy meatballs. I recommend eating in- piping hot out of the oven. And for dessert get the cannoli. Delicate and flaky with vanilla crème. Not heavy or too sweet. The perfect dessert. Too bad delivery to Toronto is out of the question.
