This review is for all the ladies work inside. Please show some customer service. I went at this location after couple of months because I don't like their customer service but today when I went they are still same. Always so rude. I always greet them but in return they don't give any reply, just tough look. Learn something from WALMART or other super stores and see how they provide customer service. I don't know why manager don't pay attention to this stuff.
Good prices. Clean store. The only unfortunate thing was the way the items are spread out around the store. It was hard to find some things while being in a rush.
Family run and always clean but super disappointed with my experience today.nHad a representative named Phyllis come and help me when an item scanned wrong.nIt was produce and she was insisting the price was per pound, after she scanned it again her self.nI told her I was going to run over, and took a picture of the tag to show her it said each. By the time I got back she was removing items that I had scanned?nWhen I showed her, She said no way we aren’t accepting pictures then had me walk over again with another employee. He said the same thing as me, it was each.nI told her it was Scanning code of practice as all tags were valid not expirednShe basically would not deal with me, grabbed all my stuff, shoved it in my hands and told me to get in line for a till.nI’ve definitely had discrepancies like this solved at self checkout before. I don’t understand why she was so rude/ unwilling to help me. Nor why I had to go back in line when I had already scanned my items. I felt bothersome for bringing up the price in the first place, when things like SCOP are supposed to be in place to protect consumers.
The pharmacist was very helpful when I had some questions. It's also a great place to stock up the kitchen when I'm in Selkirk doing free deliveries of our Yurkowski Family Farm raw clover honey nnUpdate: shelves were well-stocked and the staff were very friendly and helpful.nnUpdate: an item was mispriced. The manager was very polite and helpful, however the cashier should perhaps choose a different profession IMHO.nnUpdate: again, very friendly and helpful staff.
Had a completely insane and upsetting experience. Came in around 1:30 Feb 21, I was having a wonderful day, shopping with my mother and boyfriend. My boyfriend and I walked away from my mom’s cart to grab some shampoo when I asked an associate where the public restroom was. After dropping off the shampoo in my mom’s cart while she paid, my boyfriend walked with me to the bathroom. While I was using the bathroom, the same associate I asked aggressively confronted my boyfriend saying he KNOWS my bf put the shampoo in his jacket, claiming he can see a bulge in his jacket. My boyfriend explained we had dropped it off in my mother’s cart, and even unzipped his jacket and showed all his pockets. The worker then called my boyfriend a liar and said that I must have it with me in the bathroom then. My boyfriend again explained we had put the shampoo into my mother’s cart, by this time I had left the bathroom and also showed I had not stolen anything. The worker continued to accuse us of stealing, even adding “I’ve seen you here before!!” insinuating i had previously stolen from this store. I LAUGHED and said in this store? to which he repeated again “yes, i’ve seen you here before”. I told him that was impossible, as I am not even from Selkirk and I have never set foot in this store before in my LIFE, i do not have my license and i haven’t even been to Selkirk in years. He accused us again of lying, by this point my boyfriend was started to get annoyed as we had explained the situation multiple times to the employee for him only to not listen to a word we were saying, continuing to call us liars and thieves. I began to walk away, to find my mother who was paying and to leave the store, when the employee pointed towards the exit of the store, demanding we leave immediately and told us to NEVER come back here. Although I ignored his request to leave the store immediately in order to help my mother bag her groceries, my family will NEVER come back to spend another cent here. If my mother hadn’t already paid $200 on the groceries, we would have said Fk supporting local and left our entire cart there to go support Walmart instead. Paying customers should never be harassed, especially well paying at that. Even if my boyfriend had stolen the employees aggression and behaviour was completely inappropriate.
