My husband and I really wanted to like this place, but unfortunately, our experience fell short. Based on other reviews, we expected kind hosts, but from the moment we arrived, we felt unwelcome.nnWe arrived earlier than their check-in time and were told to come back, which was fine. But their strict check-in window conflicted with our wine tour, so we adjusted our plans and rushed to get there before 6pm. We arrived 8 mins late after updating them on our timing and were met with hostility. From then on, they treated us with rudeness and disrespect. We understand we didn’t abide by their check in rules 100% but felt their response was completely disproportionate, unprofessional and unreasonable.nnEvery time we asked a question regarding information we could have found on their website, we were met with sass. When we left our bikes outside at the front for 2 mins, we were yelled at. When we asked about accommodations in the breakfast to meet our dietary needs, the response was: this is what there is. There were also several backhanded comments, including one about my husband’s accent.nnIt’s a shame the hosts’ attitude overshadowed what could have been a great stay. They may have been warm and welcoming in the past but maybe they’ve been in it too long and have lost their patience.nnThat said, the accommodation itself was lovely — very clean, great value for money, and a fantastic location. Just don’t get on the hosts’ bad side!
Hannah and Rudy have such an amazing place!! It was a beautiful home and very comfortable room and super clean. The breakfast was terrific and they were such gracious hosts. We enjoyed our evenings on the quiet and beautiful patio. It was in a perfect central location to all we planned to do. Will definitely be back!!
We stayed at Aaron's B&B for 3 nights and it was a fantastic experience. The owners are very warm hosts and ensure that your stay is comfortable. The home-style breakfasts are delicious. The rooms are very clean. The location is also close to the historic town, restaurants, wineries etc. Highly recommend this B&B in NOTL! Keep up the good work, Hannah and Rudy!
What a great place to stay. Hannah and Rudy were very nice and welcoming. Hannah cooks a wonderful breakfast - we happened to be there for waffles and they were plentiful! Would definitely stay again.
Amazing stay! We had such a lovely time. Fantastic breakfast, the fresh fruit was absolutely delicious! Even fresh homemade jams! We stayed in the suite, so spacious & clean. Great location as well, close to a lot of the popular spots & they have a beautiful backyard. Highly recommend!!
