Aardvark is one of those local institutions that doesn't have to brag about how long they've been around or how great they are, it is simply obvious the second you interact with the owner and staff. They have an encyclopedic firsthand knowledge of music and instruments which makes this music-and-culture shop a destination for salty veterans and beginners alike. They provide a huge selection of capable musicians for their comprehensive lesson program at a very reasonable price. I've been a customer for years and more than anything I deeply respect the honesty and candor the staff has always taken with my requests or questions.

Every time I enter aardvark I feel welcomed not as a customer but as a friend. The staff shows legitimate interest in my music and goals and provide honest advice and feedback.

I've been in the store multiple times for many different reasons, and every time I find just what I need plus a little bit more! Absolutely love the store, the atmosphere, and the lovely staff. It's great to see a store so passionate about music and the culture surrounding it. 11/10!!!!

Love Aardvark!!! Perry is super helpful. Excellent teachers and great place to get music books and instruments.
