Absolutely fantastic service. Always do right by the customer rather than trying to up sell or do a more easy/ expensive repair. Very trustworthy, knowledgeable and efficient. Just the best place to go for car repairs as far as I know. Parents been using them for many many years and won’t go anywhere else. Dad had training as mechanical engineer so I think he would be a person with a more expert opinion.
Hit a curb really hard with the front left wheel of my Audi A3. The wheel was completely broken as well as a bunch of other parts attached to the wheel. Direction was completely off as well. Allan did a fantastic job on my car, it drives even better than before the accident! In addition, Allan provided me with incredible customer service. I was out of town for most of the duration of the repairs and Allan gave me daily updates on the progress on my car. He was completely transparent regarding the price of labor and what parts needed to be ordered, always trying to find the best value alternative. Finally, he coordinated the mounting of the new wheel and alignment with the shop next door so that I only had to come once when everything was done to pick up the car. A huge thank you to Allan and his team, will definitely be bringing my car there again!
These guys do great work. Honest, on time. My regular mechanic moved outside of the city and I was lucky to come upon Aamco. Once, at closing time, I stopped by because my engine fan wasn’t turning off. They identified the plug, showed me how to change it, lent me a pair of pliers, and sent me to Lordco to get to $14 replacement part myself all at no charge. Just slid their tools back through the mail slot once I had replaced the part. On another occasion no garage in the city could identify a knocking sound in my engine; came to Aamco and they got us in immediately and found the problem others couldn’t identify. Great mechanics, don’t hesitate to use them.
I went with what started as a little problem, that grew into a bigger issue. I felt stressed about it all. The BEST PART was the management and staff were so good to me. I felt so supported and taken care of. They got me a rent a car and called me daily to keep me informed and make sure I was feeling safe and taken care of. It was beyond the beyond great service. And the bill was 1/2 of what I expected it to be!! THANK YOU to everyone at AAMCO for making the experience as good as could be expected, maybe even better. My car is running well and I am safe and happy again.
I love these guys. I trust them. How many times can you say that about a car mechanic? Ever since I went to them with a coupon for a brake check and was told that everything was fine and did not have a bunch of charges tacked on, I've been going to them. They keep my junky old Volvo going, they charge me reasonable rates and they are conveniently located to me. Dump it before work, pay over the phone, pick up the car after hours with my spare. Love em. And their sense of humour!
I booked an appointment the week prior and the team was ready and waiting when I dropped off my car before work today. They quickly diagnosed the problem with my air conditioner broken cooling fan motor and sent me a text describing what was wrong, how they would fix it and a photo of the cost generated by their system. This was much easier than having to wait for a call while at work! I was able to pay over the phone and pick up the keys from a neighbouring store, since I did not think I would make it back before they closed. Great service and great work!
The customer service from Alan and the rest of the team is great. Every time I have seen them they have been really helpful and look out for the customers needs rather than selling you something you don't need. Alan checked an engine light code for me for free, told me the issue and what part I needed, when I had trouble installing it myself they installed if for me at a really reasonable cost. Highly recommended
