Great place to visit and to enjoy the best of fast foods in Caledonia.nnHad the pleasure of being helped by Wisdom today, and I can genuinely say the service was exceptional. He was super polite, attentive, and really made the whole experience smooth. He didn’t just treat me like another customer he actually took the time to listen, make sure everything was right, and had this calm, confident energy that made everything feel easy. You can tell he’s not just doing the bare minimum he actually puts effort into giving great service. It’s rare to find someone who’s both professional and down-to-earth like that. Honestly, if more people worked like Wisdom, customer service would be on a whole different level. Easily a 10/10 experience.
I was helped by Wisdom today and honestly, the service was top-tier from start to finish. He greeted me right away, made sure I had everything I needed, and handled everything with such professionalism and patience. You can tell he really cares about what he does he wasn’t just going through the motions like most people, he actually took the time to listen, explain things properly, and make sure I left satisfied. It’s rare to come across someone who takes that much pride in their customer service these days. Super friendly, respectful, and on point with everything. If every place had someone like Wisdom, customer service would be on a whole other level. Easily a 5-star experience he genuinely made my day better.
Always enjoy A&W burgers periodically, since my parents took me as a kid. Today 06/26/2025 about 3:30 P.M. I was up at the Rez picking up some cigarettes for the wife. I hadn’t eaten all day, and didn’t know what to get, from the many eateries on Argyle Street the main drag in Caledonia, ON. A&W had a huge posting lit up on the signs, advertising a Mama Combo for $8.99 + HST. I ordered quickly at the drive-thru, and I pulled up to window for take-out. Service was quick and friendly, received my Mama Burger, order of fries and a regular size root beer soda. Parked my car in the huge adjacent parking lot. Burger was nice and hot and fresh, with all the condiments of a Mama burger, sauce, pickles, sweet onion and a nice size patty. Fries were crisp and cooked right through, think A&W use Russet potatoes, lightly salted. The root beer was cold, with just the right amount of ice in it. All in all, a enjoyable lunch, all for $8.99 + HST a special A&W has on this particular day.
I ordered a double buddy burger and a chicken buddy, and I got a buddy burger and a chicken buddy. It was VERY slow service and I didn’t get my food till 15 mins later. Afterwards I went to Tim’s across the street and they got the order RIGHT. I got my food like 1 min after I ordered. Overall I do not recommend eating here
We stopped here when we were driving through town on a quiet Sunday afternoon. There was no one inside and the staff was very attentive to our needs. Had a tasty quick lunch in a clean shop. No complaints.nVegan? The beyond meat burger is seasoned just like all their burgers. Just remember, ask for no mayo.nnUpdate: Slowest drive-thru ever. If you’ve got a chance, step inside.
