every single other a&w IN WATERLOO REGION at this point has the milkshakes, the smoothies, the frozen root beer slush, etc and almost the only reason I ever visit a&w is for those. It almost makes me furious that the one nearest to me, for years now has simply not cared enough about serving them, as popular as those drinks are. PLEASE START SERVING THE FROZEN DRINKS I WILL LITERALLY WALK HERE LIKE EVERY SINGLE DAY
As far as fast food goes, A&W is pretty solid, especially with coupons. The service was quick, the orders came out hot and correct and the place was clean even though there was only 3 staff and they were busy.
Great for laptop work, if you like the coffee and don't need fast Internet. Music is too loud.nnI had a coupon so I picked up this awesome breakfast served on a plate with cutlery for $8 Normally $12. Make sure you ask for coupons for your next visit, as they have substantial savings. They keep them behind the counter.nnI was impressed by the ample seating. The tables all have power outlets and the windows have blinds that you can pull down, so working on your laptop is great. The internet is quite slow at 0.4Mb/s. Music is too loud.nnThe coffee is a different variety that takes some getting used to. This location does not have a latte machine. The hashbrown served at breakfast is rectangular and a little larger than McDonalds or Tim Horton's. I chose the sunny-side up eggs, and found them very watery, so over-easy next time. Impressively, they also have a handwashing station in the condiments area, so no need to go to the bathroom to clean up before your meal.
I ordered my food from Uber at 11:35 PM on Tuesday night, who has made my 2 beyond meat burgers they were fresh like just made it. God bless you! keep it up! I am so sure about this because I used to work in A&W, I know the quality of the food just by seeing those patties.
