I had a terrible experience with this firm earlier in 2016. I needed my 2015 taxes done, so I contacted them for assistance and at the end, it ended in a very sour meeting and my taxes were done incorrectly. They offered no real guidelines regarding papers that should be included- not even a basic Document Checklist (which, by the way H & R Block does for free!), so I gave them what I thought was best. Turns out that after I realized that their numbers were incorrect because I spoke directly with the CRA, he told me that it was "my fault" for not giving him everything required, that I should have been more thorough, that his other clients don't usually give him everything he needs so he assumed that certain docs didn't apply to my case even though I was a brand new client. The icing on the cake was when he said that instead of sending my husband, I should have come myself and dealt with him. (I was working 2 jobs while pregant and my husband was off work at the time, so it wasn't possible for me to take time off work). He didn't even apologize for his mistake nor be sympathetic regarding my situation. I was very disappointed and I'd rather pay another firm to do it or learn to do it myself and save myself the headache.

Their professionalism and how courteous they are. They have always got the job done.
