Charming family run restaurant. The food is delicious, perfectly cooked, flavors and textures superb!
We found it very average. The food is good not excellent but they charge a price for high end restaurants that are putting a lot more effort into the plates. The quantities are ridiculous specially for the entrees very small ceaser salad For 15$. We went and ate at another restaurant close by after finishing our supper and paying a big bill because we were still hungry. For the price paid, we could go to a high end restaurant and leave the restaurant being full and satisfied. I understand it’s a husband and wife running this place and i would have liked to give a better review but it was not a good experience. Sorry.
We recently ate here while staying at a nearby spa. The food is wonderful and the goat dish I had melted in my mouth. The service is delightful and friendly. Wonderful! We highly recommend A L"Express Gourmand in Sainte-Adele! Bravo!
Great place. A great couple working between the kitchen and the tables, and doing amazing in both jobs. The food is really nice. I recommend trying and sharing different plates.
Absolutely the best restaurant and food I’ve ever eaten at. First coming in we were greeted with joy and completely luxury. We were treated like royalty. The atmosphere was so calming and cozy. I can’t even begin to describe the food. It’s like we died and were in heaven. We started with the house salad and foi gras. We then ordered the duck and goat. Oh my goodness I wish I could’ve eaten that food every day of my life. If you are anywhere near this restaurant, make the trip out because it will be the highlight of your entire trip.
Always a delicious choice. Truly delightful service. Vivian and her husband Didier offer a memorable dining experience you are guaranteed to enjoy and add to your list of laurentian outing regular haunts... like we have!
Excellent French restaurant. Avant-garde cuisine, very good presentation, excellent taste, attentive service. Pricey though, 140$ for two main courses, sharing an appetizer and a desert and no wine.
Went to A L'Express Gourmand over the holidays and wanted to show the family a true Canadian food experience. Everyone was delighted with their dinners as well as the service. Highly recommended.
