They came and did what they said they would do at a price that I expected for the work involved, not cheap but not overpriced either. They returned their calls, they were respectful and neat. I would hired them again. In fact, I will call them "my Plumber" from now on. :-)

Chris has a nice demeanor and gave us an accurate estimate on the job. He was very helpful and will definitely use again in the future.

I was not certain what was happening when our AHS (Home Warranty Co.) Sent out A-1 plumber (Scott) out to my home, he did not call before coming, it was 8 A.M.,in the morning ( Monday) ,a knock at our door, not even so much as a smile good morning,as he stated I called you on my way in, the plumber Scott proceeded to tell me he had another job and he just does this part time, I offered coffee, he hurried through, not mentioning any info about what was happening under my sink, he wrote on the receipt, changed out Supply Line, I was thankful he was there and my hope was that he knew what he was doing, when he left, I looked up that the company A-1 that sent him out was reputable, my first impression was not good.,two days later the damage that the water caused started and a temporary new piece of plywood was set in, only to catch that water was still leaking out, it was noticeable on the new plywood.I phoned A1 Scott came out, stated to me that he would tighten the fittings around some of the plumbing, but he was finished for the day and that someone needs to come back pull the dishwasher out and replace the hose, I phoned A1 and I communicated that I needed a plumber that's focus was to get this right and wrapped up, I was concerned about possible water leak under dishwasher, my hardwood floors are damaged, A1 sent a different person out, he was apologetic and I was surprised his first focus to tell me, dishwasher is old and it would be best for me to get a new one, he had not removed the dishwasher to check hoses as Scott from A1 suggested, I explained that the dishwasher was the least of my concern,because it works,but making certain the hose part that Scott stated needed to be changed out, he did not on this visit take the dishwasher out.,another call to A1 plumbing finally dishwasher was pulled, plumber stated yes the fixture that the hose attached to is brittle and he could not change it out, he called AHS to state the price to fix this would exceed the amount of a dishwasher, even though the dishwasher unit works great, the plumbing is brittle,a work order was placed through AHS, they sent out the appliance person who stated nothing wrong,hmmm? 6 weeks later, I find that the communication broke down between all parts involved,only to share my concern with A1 plumbing, the owner Jeff did not return my phone call, and when I did finally reach him, he stated" I've been doing this for 14 years, and his gut feeling told him to quit on me", I was surprised, he chose to make it something about me,judging me, I have been running my own business for 25 years, if I or someone that works for me drops the ball, I would be there to take ownership around it. I think the owner sides with his situation to be right about it and he chose to let the job on my home fall through the cracks, I think he's more then likely a good business owner,and this is just an unfortunate situation, but in case it happens to someone else, I wanted to share my experience...

Pleasant as possible solution to a real crappy slow-drain issue. Fast, thorough, coutreous, good sense of humor.
