The store was fine, had a decent selection. The guy who was working (seemed like he owned the store, though I am not sure), was extremely rude. I suspect he is the type of person who just sounds annoyed when he talks, but again I am not sure. I walked away from the conversation and left my bf to talk with him because I couldn't believe the tone and condescending way he was talking to us. After I walked away, he loudly proclaimed that if I wasn't going to listen to him he wasn't going to bother explaining, I ignored him because I was upset and then embarrassed. After the second time he proclaimed his displeasure at the fact I had walked away, I returned to try to tell him why I walked away. I told him he was coming off very angry,but he cut me off and wouldn't let me finish explaining. He told me that he knew what he was talking about, and didn't care if I believed him or not, he had been doing this for 30+ years. I wanted to tell him that I didn't doubt his fish knowledge, just that he was speaking in such a rude manner that I didn't feel like I needed to sit there and be talked down to like a child. The funniest thing about this is that all we wanted was a few fish for my 6 year old son's new tank...that's it, all we wanted to know was if there were any other fish we could put in the tank with goldfish. I mentioned that we had a heater in the water and he told me "Whoever told you to put a heater in the water don't know what they are talking about at all" with a scoff. Anyways, we did buy 2 goldfish and a tank accessory since he did have a better selection. With a better attitude and had he been friendly I would have given this store 5 stars. I will not ever go back to his store, I hope you have a better experience than we did. I also hope the guy reads this, and maybe he will decide to talk to people with a bit of respect next time. Also for my part it may have been rude to just walk away while he was talking, so for that I apologize.

Good fish and herps. Products for all pets. Knowledgeable staff.

They are very knowledgeable! Thanks to them I've successfully started a salt water aquarium that has turned out beautifully. If you need to know how to get started with a new pet or how to maintain what you've got going definitely stop by this is the place to go!! Also have the best products.
