This is my favorite seafood spot! They have other food, from: sushi, pizza, rice, fish, you name it. Variety of yummy desserts, etc. My family and I has been coming here for the last 3years, and I’m always excited to visit this place whenever I have the chance. It’s tasty, all you can eat but I’m sure this does not apply to the sushi as I just found that out. Must visit if you’re in the Bloomington area and looking for somewhere to eat.
Sunday dinner lot of customers. Good food but too old and dirty Service was good but not enough Safe place inside temperature was hot.... Good for family dinner Strong recommend it
Oh boy. Not a lot of good things to say about this place honestly. The selection is minimal. They have signs up everywhere demanding that you eat whatever you take. Which I am happy to do if the food doesn't suck. But unfortunately much of it does. Overly breaded meat pellets are the specialty here and further sad news ... It's not a tasty gob of breaded flavor coating. The stars of the show are the fruits! I ate a lot of fruit... So much fruit. I crushed it. Hard. So that was worth one star. They were prompt about keeping the diet coke filled up. I only ran out and almost died of thirst one time. Not bad for a buffet! That was a star. But another negative was that they decided I had eaten enough of their food... So they brought me a bill and said "thank you, bye!". To which I responded "oh... No... I'm not nearly done yet" I'm sure this was shocking. I ate a lot of fruit. The noodles were dry, the sushi appeared to be stolen from a gas station, and to top it all off... The selection of food was limited. Yah I know I already said that. It just hurts that much. You want a killer Asian buffet? Go to fridley. Parking: Free parking

Lots of seafood options including fried fish, #sushi many varieties, #wanton, #cheese-pie, different type of prawn dishes, #crawfish, crab fishes, salad, fruits, and desserts. Don’t forget to treat yourself with cone icecream. Still, $20 is a bit on the higher side for the buffet. For those who eat #halaal food, never take for granted that Spring Rolls and Egg Rolls are veggie; they may have chicken or chicken stock. For “Hot & Sour” soup, this is a good eating spot for vegetarians and #halal lovers. Many in town use chicken stock in it but here it is pure #vegetarian with #tofu. #asianfood #ChineseCuisine #food
Went for lunch on a Tuesday. Was surprised by how many people arrived at opening time. In the realm of buffet food, 98 Pounds is very good. The sushi my favorite first course was fresh and tasty, though there wasn't much variety. The hot tables did have a nice variety and everything I had was good. Their take on mai fun was quite good. I will likely eat here again.
My family enjoyed our dinner at 98 Pounds Buffet. We started with fruit and salad. There was some fresh fruit and some canned fruit. There was also jello squares. At the salad bar there was a colorful spring mix of lettuces plus a few other vegetables and cottage cheese and dressings. The sushi was very fresh. It was a pretty large section. There was three sections of hot and fried foods. They had egg rolls, spring rolls, soups, fish, chicken drumsticks, and several breaded varieties of chicken, rice, green beans, a broccoli dish, won tons, noodles, mushrooms etc. . . Unfortunately, the ice cream machine was out of order. Several other small desserts were available. The staff was friendly and helped serve drinks and take extra plates. The restrooms were clean and tidy. They had great instrumental background music playing as well.
Great selection of shusi an rolls! Nice average size buffet an the foods that I tried had good flavor for a buffet! I would recommend this place for a buffet over most near! Also good friendly service!

One of my favorite places to have sushi. Been a frequent diner since discovering this place over a decade ago. If you are looking for an all-you-can-eat sushi buffet. This is the place. There's Chinese items as well. Service has always been great. Food is great for lunch or dinner.
My ultimate Chinese buffet comfort food. I love going here with my mom and my boyfriend, the food is always so satisfying and tasty. I also love the variety of dishes that they offer and how consistent that it’s been over the past many years. I am definitely a 98 pound lover <3.
