808 cheesecake did such a wonderful job for our wedding. We were able to order all the mini cheesecakes we needed with ease including a few gluten free ones. We also added a personal sized on for the top of our dessert tier. It looked beautiful. We just celebrated our one year Wedding Anniversary and it reminded me to finally leave a review! Wonderful cheesecake and friendly, helpful service.
I would have loved to review the taste of the cheesecake, but after our lengthy drive home, we opened up the box and found the cheesecake frozen, solid. I used to weigh 400lbs, so I've had more than my fair share of delicious deserts. After seeing reviews for 808 Cheesecake on a number of sites and posted by people I've gotten good food recommendations from in the past, my expectations were high. A cheesecake iceberg isn't what I expected. To be very clear, we asked when we purchased it if it was frozen and we were told it wasn't. Spending $40 on a cheesecakecicle is more than a bit disappointing and I'm left feeling unsatisfied and more than a bit ripped off. Of course, eventually I'll be able to eat it - but I can get a frozen cheesecake at any of a dozen of other places for a quarter of the price. The young woman working was very pleasant, so that was the highlight of the experience. I hope this review helps others plan to avoid a cheesecake freeze out. I won't be trying again.
I love the flavor variety of the cheesecake. Price is fair and service always friendly. I've placed orders via email and they've been responsive each time. I grew up on O'ahu and always buy the Tropical Sunrise, Kona Coffee and Lilikoi flavors....a taste of home!
Delicious cheesecake! They have a little sampler with tiny cakes. So many good flavors to try. And guys - they have a gluten free one and keto one! Amazing. Such a new gem for Janesville.
Friendly customer service. Prices are a bit high in my opinion, however, the cheesecake is scrumptious. Pumpkin creampuffs are ok but nothing to write home about. Bottom line; if you like cheesecake you’ll most likely enjoy thier richly flavored homemade cheesecake.
Hi, This weekend was Shop Hop Weekend where you and your best friend jumps in your car and follows the red icons of all the shops that are a part of it! Well my BF was looking for one of the shops in our path and stumbled across this well kept secret! We went inside and bought each a personal cheesecake which we were planning to have for desert in the evening! Then my great idea was to get the sampler one as shown in my picture and as you can you all gone! We sat in my truck using the small little plastic fork trying to split it to share with each other well you are grabbing them from a freezer, so, it’s a good thing our fork didn’t break in our sweet & smooth samples we both enjoyed! However, we decided that the favorite for both of us was the Reese’s one and we were craving chocolate but keep in mind we had to dive into the fruity ones first. It was the most memorable moment that we shared today! Ya’ll need to go and live your now and eat those samples! I guarantee you, you will return in the future to have more! Hey Google it’s kind of hard to fix my mistakes on here!! I meant to say As you can see it’s all gone!
Really awesome little shop. Stopped in for some macaroons and found a bunch of other test treats to try. We had a tiramisu and a white chocolate peanut butter macaroon.
We have been there for three of their cheesecakes. All were beyond excellent! We will be back! You have to try th.
I haven't actually gone into 808 to order. I accidentally walked in once instead of Poke. But they sell their cheesecake at 808 poke and i can say without a doubt it's the best in town.
Love cheesecake! We were so indecisive on choosing just one so we opted for the sampler. Oh how delightful! Sat outside the shop in my best friends vehicle cutting all the samples in half for each of us to try... By far the Reeses peanut butter cheesecake is the bomb! Great little place!!!
