Cozy Italian restaurant on the Danforth. Nice staff. Great vibes. Not too busy on Thursday night. A bit salty overall. Missing fresh lemon on my calamari.
When I heard that it was a traditional Puglinese Southern Italian restaurant I knew I had to try it. It was recommended by a friend who knew my father was from this region in Italy. I was not disappointed, the cozze muscles in a tomato and white wine sauce immediately brought me back to my childhood, it was beyond delicious. We also order the Funghi Caldo, the warm mushrooms sautéed with spinach and Gorgonzola cheese was a real treat, perhaps a bit heavy on the Gorgonzola, but I’m a huge fan of blue cheeses. For dinner we shared the salsiccia di agnello, lamb sausage mainly because we were told they don’t serve the lamb shank or lamb chops, which they are known for, on Sundays. That was a bit disappointing but very tasty none the less, and the Palmugiane con Sugo, a breaded eggplant dish smothered in mozzarella and Romano cheese and homemade tomato sauce. I’m still salivating thinking about it. For desert we had the Tiramisu in a cup, I’m very glad we decided to. The fresh basil and tomato’s growing in reused tomato cans was a bit too rustic for my liking, but what the place lacks in decor, it makes up for in taste. I will definitely be back on the weekend sometime to try the rest of Mama Rosa’s recipes.
The atmosphere of this location was really great and the staff is incredibly nice. I went for a bday thing and stayed with friends until close. They also were gracious about letting us bring gifts, cake etc. The food itself was also good! Homey Not mind blowing amazing but was tasty and within price point!!
A very lovely experience at 7Numbers. Order: Drinks - Dark & Stormy and Negroni. Both were very tasty but the D&S was exceptionally delicious! Appetizer - Arugula salad. Great dressing that compliments the goat cheese and roasted red peppers. Definitely recommend it. Pasta - Lasagna and Lobster Linguine. Lasagna was good but I can't compliment the linguine enough. It was a fantastic dish. I had to ask for extra bread so I could scoop up the sauce. Couldn't waste any it! The staff was very friendly and attentive. Overall a fantastic experience! Looking forward to visiting again and trying more of the menu.
Wish there was a 10 star option. Hard pressed to find better lasagna and calamari, my fave anywhere in the city. Service is top notch and such a casual but authentic vibe. We love it. Shout out to Will, server extraordinaire!
I had dinner here with my family after a couple of years away, and we enjoyed everything. The food was excellent, the atmosphere was cozy and intimate, and the service was attentive and friendly. I love 7 Numbers and always look forward to going back.Food: 5/5
I have been to 7Numbers twice and they did not disappoint! I went there this past weekend for my sister in laws bachelorette dinner and everyone absolutely LOVED their meal - from the drinks to dessert, everything was delicious! The staff there are incredible and so friendly and accommodating. This is my go-to Italian spot in the city.
Terrible service and food. The standards have definitely dropped. The arugula salad was mushy and bland. The wild boar gnocchi was store bought with ground beef and tomato sauce. I’ve made better pasta at home. 60 dollars so not worth it.
Lovely dinner with fantastic service. Our waitress, Natasha, was very attentive and friendly. Her demeanor and politeness toward my grandparents made for a delightful night. The meatballs are to die for
We have been going to this wonderful little Italian restaurant in Riverdale and we usually sit on the patio. We always have delicious food and their Caprese salad is to die for, as is their Pollo Parmigiano. Tonight we sat on the patio, even though it is getting a bit cooler now and they put down the awning and turned the heat on. I wasn’t expecting that and that to me was really going above and beyond. I recommend them highly.
