Story

We specialize in Northwest style ales! All of our beers are made with 100% American ingredients, mostly grown in our very own Pacific Northwest! We have a special interest in green practices and promotion of our local community.

Four words to describe our philosophy: Peace, love, music, and of course, beer!

This is a place for the beer and not much else. As a craft beer and pub food lover, I thought this would be a great night out dinner destination. I was wrong. The food was all very mediocre at best, I ordered the meatloaf and it was incredibly dry. My partner ordered the equivalent of fish and chips and it was very fishy tasting. The pretzel and cheese was one of the best I have ever had. Overall, great place to chill and drink beer, not a great place for food.

Great place service was fast and efficient the place was really packed at night and they were having a wine walk and other things going on it was a really great place I would definitely recommend it to all my friends and truly Fantastic Fear the Black Oak quarter was fine

This place is exceptional! Not only are the food and drinks good (vegetarian poutine!), the owners work hard to be ethical, environmentally friendly, and supportive of arts and music. Any place that has reusable straws gets my heart fluttering. Friendly staff, too. Would be here all the time if I lived in the area.

When traveling along the coast of Oregon I try to pick up a few IPA's. So far to date I've probably tried around 18 to 20 , I filled a growler of the Groundswell IPA at the Beverage Barn in Bandon to take back home with me. Finally had a chance to sit down and have a sip of it. Mine was a little flat due to being in a growler sitting around, my fault. Wow! What a wonderful blend of sweetness and bitterness. Not overly bitter like you get with a lot of West Coast IPA's, but a well blended bitterness with nice and proper additions of crystal malts. I would say to date this is one of the best West Coast IPA's I've enjoyed. There was no hidden off flavors no flaws. The only slight imperfection that I noticed was the higher alcohol aroma ,mouth feel on the first sip but as soon as you get a mouth full it all blends together beautifully. KL

Very good craft beer and delicious food. I've only been here a few times and I have to say i really enjoy the atmosphere. They have a small "stage" which is really just a seating spot that is used for a musician. Usually just loud enough to enjoy and not too loud that you can't talk to the people you are mingling with.
