The process from start to finish was amazing. The move in was very smooth, and if I had any questions or concerns the staff wouldn't mind to help out. This is my first apartment for my family and I, and we would recommend it to anyone looking. It is close to so much amenities, and there's always something to do for every age group. Thanks again to the staff of 45 Railroad for making this experience nothing short of amazing.
Great customer service to help with the move and get us set up in our new home. Beautiful suites, amazing amenities, nice community and neighbours. Love it here already!
I experienced poor service from the office staff. One time, I was locked out of my suite without my key, so I asked a lady in the office to open the door for me. She told me to wait outside until another person arrived at the office.
One of the worst management, I have ever seen in my life. If possible I would had given them zero or negative star. I’m going to share my whole experience in this feedback.nn1. Wrong pricing & info on website: we went to rent an apartment after seeing pricing online which management said its wrong pricing and that apartment is rented already It has to be updated but i still saw the same pricing and apartment available on the website for next 6 months and paid $150-$200 extra for another apartment which they only wanted to rent out.nn2. Ac was not working: when we moved in we found out, Ac in couple of the rooms are not working. We put a maintenance request, it took them 2 months to fix that issue as their maintenance team was keep saying we didn’t know how to operate Ac until one of maintenance guy realised its issue and he fixed it for us. Thanks Issa for fixing!nn3. Non-Smoke free building: People keep smoking/weed in common areas, you can visit terrace area, near pool area or staircase. You can find cigarettes over there. Although they have non smoking policy but they don’t do anything if people are smoking. They’re chill minded.nn4. Heater was not working: They told us heat is included but there was no benefit of it as the heat same Ac room was not working for first three months in two of our room as their maintenance team was not able to fix that until I went to their Manager Jessica, next day they fixed it. Before that they were keep saying there is some issue with that system we had already requested the contractor to fix that.nn5. Discrimination: whenever we went to management for any issues/problem. They tried to overruled you. I remember one incident, I went to Ravi for my package which went missing with in 15 minutes as delivery guy was lazy and dropped at door. He told me we thrown it out as it was at door and we’re a high end building. We don’t accept the parcel to leave at door. When we replied it would be great if you provide high end services as well.nWe don’t know from where he brought this and said that its not right you student miss-use our amenities and damage community room just because we did that you would revert like that.nnCome on Guys, just because we’re Immigrants, you will say we’re student. We moved to Canada as Permanent resident and we have a baby who is citizen. You cant discriminate us just because we’re Indian. If someone damage any amenities then talk to them, don’t blame all Indians for that.nn6. Safety: Your parcel and courier are not safe. Anyone can steal anything and they will not do anything for you. They will not take any accountability for it. Their parcel room is never locked, Anyone can walk in and steal your parcel. Don’t surprise if you see your parcel/courrier missing.nn7. Nuisance: People do party till 1-2 clock in the balcony when you complain about it and provide evidence. They say we will send notice. I complained about nuisance coming from same apartment 3 times. All they did is only sent notice, nothing more than that.nn8. Enter your Apartment without premises: my wife was attending an office call, someone was moving in our opposite apartment, they had a big couch which they needed to move in and for that they needed to open our door, just because my wife was on meeting so she didn’t response. So Ravi came to rescue and entered our apartment without our permission and let the move in team to enter our apartment so they can move their big couch to opposite apartment and when my wife noticed some noise coming inside our apartment, she was totally shocked to see them near our door.nnI’m not sure about others but what we’re not okay to come inside our apartment without our permission.nnThese are some of the incidents which we remember, but there were lots so if you’re move in, please consider this feedback.nnAlso if you’re seeing some 5star, most of them were did at the time of moving. This was the real experience in living at 45 Railroad st.
Updated review after living at 45 railroad for just under 2 years.nPros: Beautiful new units. Community rooms are great. Main office is generally easy to speak with regarding concerns. Amenities are also great if available.nCons: The dedication to make this a 5 star home is lacking. There are constant issues such as the fire alarm going off during the night, the intercoms not working, the garage door being broken, overpriced parking 320-350 for two cars, the pool is still not open and we’re halfway through summer, the park is also not very useful and seems unfinished. To enter the unit you need the fob, so if you have a visitor or parents caring for your kids while away, there’s no option to provide them with a key. With that being said, if the intercom is down, or the garage is broken, this makes entry for family even harder. Thankfully we don’t live on a higher floor if they need to use the stairs. For the price we pay, I had higher hopes. Hoping this review provides some insight on the frustrations we have as tenants.
