I went to 40 Westt during lunch time on a weekday. First off, there is a big parking lot so no problem with parking. When you come in the hostess welcomes you and the restaurant is beautiful. My friend and I ordered the Table D'hôte : Salad, Seafood linguini, dessert and coffee. My favorite part was the coffee and dessert :P the meal was okay, pasta is pasta. I know they are known for steak but wasn't ready for a steak at 11:30 am. The Waiter was very nice and polite. Price was 35$ for lunch. Definitely a place to bring a client or celebrate a special occasion. Thanks !
Favorite steakhouse so far, ordered prime rib with mash potatoes and mushroom in wine reduction sauce, porter house and lobster, salmon, and veal. It's done perfectly to our liking and it was served fast. The only thing is the location is very busy traffic is so bad took us 1hr to get there instead of 30, but the food is worth it.
Came here for my anniversary and had the most amazing evening! Our waiter Miguel gave us 10/10 service and recommended the table d’hôte which was excellent. Best steak I’ve had in a long time! The restaurant is also beautiful especially with the holiday decorations. I’d hiiighly recommend coming here for an elegant and upscale dining experience.
This is truly a dining experience. My only complaint is that they bring the food so fast. Taste, selection, servers, decor were all amazing. Highly recommend this place. This is a great place for business dinners, groups and parties. There were a lot of birthdays when I was there and it was a Wednesday.Food: 5/5
I fail to understand how anyone can rate a restaurant with one star unless you are a jealous competitor, have a private three star Michelin chef on your payroll, were ignored, served reheated or stale food and sat in a sandbox. That being said our family had a wonderful dinning experience. Were greeted with courtesy and a prompt sanitary measure check in. All staff wore masks at all times. Oscar our waiter displayed professionalism and just enough humour to keep an engaging client-waiter relationship. The meats as well as any of the fish were top grade. My lobster bisque soup was likely the best I ever had. Porterhouse and shrimp were divine. Dessert chocolate mousse spot on. An apple crumble was also shared at the table and was over the top. The wine list is in abundance with unique selection of private imports that will satisfy most wine aficionados. All staff acknowledged and wished us a good evening on the way out. What more to ask. An establishment that merits its brand.

This is a great restaurant if you are looking for fine dining. It's very large and the service is amazing. Our waiter was very attentive and we did not feel rushed at all during our meal. I know it is a steak house but I do wish they could include veggies with their dishes along with an extra side. I did order the seafood pasta and my husband ordered the ribsteak only available on Saturdays and both were great.
Omyyy Gawd how does one screw up soooo badly on service???? I wanted to give this place a second chance because their food is absolutely amazing.. if you don’t care about service than I definitely recommend you will enjoy the food 100% .. I just can’t get passed the horribly poor service it was so terrible! Our reservations were for 5:30pm as we walked in no one was even there to greet us lol it was dead no one at the place! We were confused had to hunt down someone to talk to.. eventually… they told us they weren’t ready to seat us yet and we waited in the lobby for 25-30 minutes.. Dont take dinner reservations at 5:30 if you can’t sit us down I was so ready to leave but I was HANGRY … finally gor seated .. after 30 minutes no water no bread or butter nothing .. no waiter … 20 minutes had to hunt down a waiter who wasn’t even our waiter .. asked to get a sweet cocktail and just ordered our food… We never got our water LOL OUR MEALS came out right away the wedge salad was delicious and the steak was amazing! Our waiter was super abnoxious ! He was Very rude! My cocktail was horrible like dry and extremely strong .. not sweet at all.. I just asked for an amaretto sour instead … The meal was delicious but damn the service was DISGUSTING I wont ever bother to come here again sorry service was -1000000 worst service ever oh yeaa and our water never showed up lol I had to ask them at the end of the meal ummm hello wheres the water dudeee??!!! Don’t think I’ll ever be coming back here again learn how to treat paying customers better you guys are a disgrace!
It was hopping for a Monday night, which I was very happy to see. We ordered some appetizers to share salmon tartar, beef tartar, and tuna sashimi. Hubby and mum-in-law loved the tuna sashimi best. For plump oysters on half shell, wait for the season. Now is not the season. Bread basket was an eye pleaser and caraway pumpernickel bread delish. I ordered a filet mignon topped with melted brie on top of garlic mashed potatoes with a reduction of red wine sauce, absolutely sublime. The steak was perfectly seasoned and cooked perfectly medium, and cuts like butter. Our son ordered the cowboy steak, rare, and it came very rare. Its nice to see a restaurant cook the steaks exactly to customer's request. Its so easy to fail it and they passed with flying colors. Looking forward to comming back. And dress nicely, the resto is on the upscale side. Thick linen napkins and table cloth. Parking: Lots of parking.
You can't go wrong at 40 Westt. Everything was perfect, the food was amazing, the oysters, the tuna tataki, the Cesar salad, the veal chop, the tomahawk and grilled octopus were #1. Service is always guaranteed. If you happen to travel a lot you'll notice that the prices are very reasonable for the quality that 40 W provides.Food: 5/5
