We always have a great experience here. My go to place for a quick Filipino food cravings or anything Filipino. Even though T&T has the same distance from my place, I will still rather come to 3J. We love supporting local and of course our kababayan
Went there yesterday with my daughter. I found lots of frozen stuff overpriced. We ended up buying lots of kakanin hoping they would be delicious but ended up disappointed. No wonder there were still lots for sale! Rude customer service too! We are from Yellowknife,NT and visiting Saskatchewan and Alberta, such a waste of time driving for almost 20 mins from WEM just to see this store can offer. No plans of going back to this store again, very disappointed!
3J Filipino Variety Store not only offers the best products for the consumers ;but they come with a strong protocol of quality,cleanliness and genuine price. As soon as you enter the store ,you can feel the warm welcome. They offer multiple services under one roof. The owner strongly supports the community as a whole. She works for the right cause and helps people.The staff is professional and helpful. I recommend people to visit the store and buy quality and service which this small business is excellent at. Unfortunately, I bought Otap cookies from here recently and realized when I got home that it was months expired! MAke sure you read the labels before buying anything. On the other hand, I enjoyed the rest of the items i bought including the puto flan!
Going to 3J Variety Stores feels like going home to the Philippines. They have variety of foods not available in other stores. You will not get out of the store empty-handed that’s for sure. The owner is super friendly and always give the best customer service.
This shop is full of surprises - lots of Filipino, Asian grocery items, food and delicacies! They also support other businesses by featuring pastries, dessert from local businesses. Remittance to my province was done fast! Owners are hands on in operating this shop and I like the idea of naming the aisle as local shopping areas in Philippines like Divisoria, Quiapo
Their halo halo each time is inconsistent with the ingredients sometimes they will miss out some certain jelly this time they missed out the cake like small piece. I was looking forward the cake like ingredient. Each time they charged the same full price but ripping the customer off. I won't be coming back.i always love supporting local stores, but this is one of the reasons franchises are way more successful which is having consistent products.
Lots of places to buy filipino products like TnT, Walmart and Superstore that offer low prices. You can also find affordable FRESH cakes i.e. Yema and delicacies that are sold in Palabok and Save On. We won't be coming back here.
Friendly staff, great service and abundance of choices for Filipino refreshments! Awesome one stop shop that I will continue to visit!
This store sells cooked Filipino dishes in a container and this is the second time I bought a dish cooked by Summerside Grill and the dish is submerged in oil because the pork got lots of fats! You won't see it right away because the dishes are chilled but once you warm it up then you will see that more than a quarter of the container is oil from the pork fats. Every piece of pork in the dish I bought Menudo and Pork Binagoongan has a fat attached to it. It's scary to eat and kinda gross with all that oil. But there's one concessionaire - Gio's Fine Food if I remember it exactly their dishes are good and hardly any fats. Other than my bad experiences with the Summerside Grill cooked foods, the store is nice, clean and bright. You would find almost everything Filipino there.
