315 Martinis and Tapas

This place is a hidden treasure. I have travelled far and wide, dug for the true masters of the culinary arts and this inn/bar blew my mind. Originally from the south, I did not think Idaho would have mind blowing ribs but this place had ribs so soft and flavorful, I could even eat the marrow. The steak at the zenith of medium rare and seasoned lightly with a creamy mushroom sauce. This place will forever haunt my dreams with it's perfection.

I visited during restaurant week and picked off the special menu. I originally ordered chicken and dumplings which I unfortunately sent back due to it being way too salty. I then ordered a salad which I found to be poorly poorly presented. The baked Brie was impressive and the main dish was filling and delicious. The dessert was a sad single crepe. My experience was not bad however I was not swept off my feet. I was intrigued by the history of the building therefore I do hope to visit again and definitely try something more to my liking.

This is hands down one of the best restaurants I’ve been to in a long time. As a Portland resident and global traveler, I have very high standards. For all of those who gave bad reviews - you clearly don’t know a thing about fine dining. (For example: skinless mashed potatoes are most likely from a packet). We had a very well rounded experience: cocktails, starters, salad, entrees and dessert. All of which was exceptional. The only thing I dislike about this place is that isn’t close enough for me to come back again sooner!

We found this place just by happenstance. Wow, my new favorite in CDA. Drinks were over the top, staff was amazing. Atmosphere was warm and cozy. I cannot wait until our next trip back!

Fawn is amazing. Drinks never disappoint and the menu is creative and tasty. It's a weekly stop for us!
