Absolutely not.nWhen i signed my lease... I thought it was the application...they refused to allow me to view the apartment. The contract apparently was an automatic 3 year lease. If you decide you want to move out you have to notify them in January in order to move out for end of August or your SOL. This place is supposed to be 'luxury' but got roaches. People smoking in the stairwells. I come home and my house smells like weed and smoke because of the neighbors. Fire alarm going off at all hours of the night. Parking is absolutely atrocious, my partner and I pay $300 a month for parking and it is NOT guaranteed. In my experience the maintenance guy has been pretty good, but I haven't seen him the past almost month around the building so who knows if it'll go down now.nnThe price you pay is disgusting. 1 bedroom plus a den is about 2300$ plus hydro. You get 1 closet in the entire small ass unit. If you decide to bring your own couch inn..make sure it's small.
Very bad experience. Lift doesn’t work sometimes, imagine about the people living on top floors like 25,26,27,28,29 how they step up using stairs. Washroom design is aweful , I don’t understand why they install tub design for sitting.
Worst experience ever.nSometimes lift doesn’t work and sometimes laundry doesn’t work.nHave much problem of bedbugs getting outside the gaps of the apartments.
This is going to anyone who is considering moving into this apartment building and looking for housing, do yourself a favour and don’t even think about it. This is a long detailed review to prepare yourself for what you’ll be getting yourself into.nnI’ve been living here for over a year and to say this place is an embarrassment is an understatement. The only good thing about this building is a spacious apartment and the terrace.nnFor the rent price that people pay in this building, it’s quite frankly robbery. There are no ensuite washers and dryers, and instead is in a common area where each wash is now $3.10 and each dry is also $3.10, not including what you pay for the actual products detergent and softener. The prices started at $2.60 and I was assured by management that it won’t go up, and it did… TWICE. To top it off, half of the washers and dryers aren’t working most of the time, and there are about 8 washers and 10 dryers for a 30 floor building. The elevators go out frequently and take way longer than they should to be fixed. This building is notorious for fire alarms going off on about a bi-weekly schedule give or take, and it’s always someone doing something stupid like smoking in the stairwell under the smoke detector instead of an actual emergency. The amount of times I’ve been woken up at 1 AM and had to run down countless flights of stairs due to the fire alarm is ridiculous. They say wifi is free and included, but the connection is atrocious to the point where I had to buy a router myself in order to do my work. You would think paying as much as you do at this building that parking would be cheap or at least guaranteed a spot, and that is certainly not the case. Parking costs $150 a month, and people sneak in instead of paying, leaving people who actually pay lots of money with no spot. I have had to park in the designated handicap spot many times now, and as of late even that’s full. Management is a joke here, they don’t take any complaints seriously, even though I have went to the maintenance office multiple times about various complaints. When most of the washers and dryers were out, management’s way of compromising was to tell me to go to a laundromat. So a fully furnished apartment building that is supposed to be about luxury comes with no TV, no en suite laundry machines, terrible maintenance as they take forever to complete requests, and thats what I can remember at the top of my head. To put things into perspective, when I first moved in the shower head somehow broke because everything is cheap. I put in a request immediately through the tenant portal and it took TWO WEEKS to get a shower head replaced which took not even 5 minutes once the maintenance guy was here. I know a couple of these complaints have to do with the tenants actions, but management hasn’t done anything about it other than send out reminder emails like that has ever worked.nnWith all that being said, don’t let their so called “luxurious” units fool you. You will be paying way too much for a place that is not nearly worth it. I had hoped that they would fix up the way I was promised from management, and even then they couldn’t hold up their end. If you do decide to move in, do not be surprised about the false promises management here will make, and ultimately you’re the one that will be in a bad position and have to take the fall.
This is the worst rental experience of my life.nnI have rented apartment on Lester st for less and with more comfort.nHere you get nothing, and when you need something from the manager, you wait months for an answer.nnTo top it all off, the contract says that you get a ready to live in apartment, but our stove didn't work for about a month and the window in the room didn't close! They still haven't fixed it!nnThis whole neighbor thing, it's a separation story. Every time I order goods to the house, I think about them not getting stolen! And also these idiots smoke on the stairs, so you'll hear the fire siren every week at any time of day!nnGood luck for everyone with this rent!
