Colorful Mexican restaurant on the Hood Canal River. Upon arriving the staff was warm and welcoming. Large portions for food and drinks were a great value. My camarones a la diabla was more sweet than spicy which was a little disappointing, but my friends enjoyed their dishes.
Lived in WA for 2 years now. Came from Southern CA where there were lots of good Mexican food options. I have been to about 6 different ones since I've lived here and 2 Margaritas has been by far the best I've tried since I moved. Great food, large portions, yummy Cadillac Margarita! I had the 3 item combination plate and the meal was huge! Pictures show my 2 plates of food. One plate is pork burrito, shredded beef chimichanga, rice & beans. Other plate is a chalupa. I wasn't sure what that was, looked it up on my phone and appeared it was a deep fried taco basically, which it was, just the size of an entire plate! Views across the street of the the North Bay. I very much enjoyed my meal there.
Our first time here. It won't be the last! Food and service were both excellent.
We just loved it here! Everyone we interacted with was so kind. we were just going in for a quick bite and drink and none of the severs turned there nose up at us sharing nachos and a margarita. Thankful for the outstanding service and quality food.Recommended dishesNachos, Taco Enchilada Combo
They have great food, but don’t expect great service. Unless maybe you are a regular in their bar. I have gone in to eat in the bar area because there is more space in that part of the restaurant on more than one occasion during an “off” time 3:30-ish and have been essentially ignored. No one comes to check on how your food is, I’ve had to ask for water refills, when they do engage you it’s like they could care less if you were there. No kindness, no conversation, NOTHING. The only reason I go back is the food a great assortment of choices and the fact that it is like 7 minutes from my house.
Deliciousness and beautiful decor!! Please stay open later to enjoy your wonderful cocktails! Maybe bring in a band on the weekends?! I would love to turn my meal into a full evenings entertainment! : Yes, dancing please!

The food was great, the atmosphere was nice, the wait staff was friendly and helpful... The staff was a bit ever present, at one point having two people working our table at the same time which was a bit hectic, but it looked like it was a slow night, so I can understand. The biggest thing to be aware of is the prices are a bit high, but you get a lot of food for the money... Just be prepared for to go boxes or maybe split an order first time out there to gauge for yourself.
Used to be our go to place. Margaritas chips and salsa. Are good. Don't order the chili rellano it's pre done and was old egg and chili's. Putting to much sauce and cheese to try and hide it. Rice was old and crunch, burrito was cold inside. Not fresh food.
Very quaint place with a nice view. Staff was friendly and quick. Food was so delicious! Well return, for sure.
