Le 1909 Taverne moderne - LVL, situé dans la Place Bell et pensé par la firme new-yorkaise Rockwell Group, présente deux étages surplombant un écran géant de 33 pieds, de loin le plus grand de la Rive-Nord! Le menu met l’accent sur une cuisine internationale conçue à partir de produits locaux, en plus d’offrir une sélection de 40 bières internationales, locales et artisanales en fût, une vaste sélection de vins et un menu de cocktails innovateur, offrant aux amateurs de tous les sports une expérience culinaire unique.

Le 1909 sera un nouveau point de rassemblement qui permettra aux invités de vivre une expérience unique de visionnement sportif, avec les dernières innovations au niveau de la projection au laser, un écran central de 33 pieds de qualité 4K, proposant la programmation sportive la plus vaste sur le marché.

1909 Taverne moderne - LVL, located in Place Bell is designed by the New York-based Rockwell Group and it features two floors. The menu presents a locally-sourced international cuisine, with 40 taps offering international, domestic, and locally crafted beers, an extensive wine list, and an innovative cocktail menu, creating a casual dining experience for fans of every sport.

A new gathering place that will provide guests with the ultimate sports viewing experience, the Place Bell location will include the latest technology in laser projections, a 4K-quality 33’ main screen, fed by the most comprehensive sports broadcast package available.

I was eager to try this place out and perhaps I had high expectations. I was not impressed. The staff are very friendly. The venue itself is very well done. My only complaint about the venue is that the big screen projecting the game is not well visible from many seats. If you get a seat on the second floor, you will have a good view of the game. Otherwise, you can watch on one of the smaller screens. I was very disappointed with the food. I am very surprised with the glowing reviews already posted. I ordered the cheeseburger. It was very bland, even though I added bacon and a fried egg. The fries were also bland. When I cheat on junk food, I want it to be tasty. When I think of the value I received in return for the $36 plus tip I spent (for a beer and a burger), I feel disappointed. I think there are much better burgers out there for half the price. I was with a group of 6 and nobody was impressed with the food or the projection of the game. This place has tons of potential. As I am from Laval, I like the location and the concept. But the food has to be better. There are way better choices at these prices.

Ho men ho men.... So disappointed. Was seriously hoping in this place. Service very slow and unatentiones. Food was ordinary for the price and portions little below what is expected for the tacos Chicken fingers very greasy(oil covered the bottom of plate) but crunchy and pricy. My downtown experience was way better. Sad, we had hope in a new place for evening get togethers after work near a metro station. Look at the pictures of my plates. Clearly the manager noticed we where unhappy. He removed our bill and offered us the meal. We don't go out to get free meels BUT for good experiences. This time the experience was below acceptable but the meel was free. And theybcan use the excuse that they just opened, but this restaurant is operated by one of Canada's largest franchise and they should be able to properly operate a place like this rapidly lile they do in multiple other locations of their brands accros Montréal.

Evening of the 27 Jan. Cocktail for season ticket holder. Total disaster, absolutely no organisation, the waiters staff were trying their best but the management and the hostesses were terrible, too much people not enough tables, nobody was in charge, what a mess. All that for a bland food without any character, can't even make a descent coffee, exception maybe for the dessert. First and last. And the Rocket organisation is to blame too by the way.

Nous avons beaucoup apprécié notre visite à la Taverne 1909. Notre serveur était très accueillant et professionnel. Notre repas était délicieux, nous avons commandé le tartare de boeuf, celui de saumon et le cheeseburger. De plus, l'ambiance était chaleureuse et festive. Seul petit bémol, les choix de styles musicaux étaient un peu trop variés - hip hop années 80, R & B fin années 90, rock des années 70... Mais quand on est rendu à critiquer la musique, c'est que la soirée était réussie!

Très bonne nourriture, belle ambiance, agréable dans la même bâtisse que Place Bell Laval, pas besoin de sortir dehors. Stationnement intérieur. Tout à votre portée pour une belle soirée.
