It is a gorgeous home and interesting story of how the owner became rich. There were a lot of antics & history of the house and good view from widow room at the top. The first floor had the most & best Xmas decorations. Unfortunately not much to be excited about from the rest of the place
We attended one of their special events! The New Year's Afternoon Tea. It was absolutely lovely. Delicious, friendly staff, beautifully decorated home. Wonderful afternoon. Beautiful, historic home.
Tour guide very informative... not rushed..... able to take our time going through .... would definitely visit again!
Amazing architecture, stained glass, artifacts. Great history and very intriguing radio tour. Very cheap for the entrance fee and employees are sweet. Recommend this for all ages!
Beautiful place!! Lots of stained glass, pocket doors and a fabulous open stairway...wood trim around doorways was amazing....loved the shower in the master bedroom and the billiard room was awesome...carriage house is so cool but couldn't go in as it was being used as a venue when we visited
A beautiful home and definitely worth visiting. Admission is reasonable and you can take a guided or self guided tour.
The details and craftsmanship of this historical building is amazing. Well worth the trip. Dont miss the master bedroom shower, Very unique.
Great opportunity for taking pictures. Came here to stop by and take pictures from outside on the way home from Ithaca because don’t have time for taking tours, will comeback later when in the area.
Awesome! Staff was so nice and knowledgeable! Really nice place, history, no bad karma at all!
Went there for their "Spirits in the Castle" ghost tour, learned about Death & Mourning during the Victorian Era as well as the history of the Wickwire family...unfortunately no paranormal activity at that time, but overall had a nice time and would recommend it for anyone interested in history and/or Victorian style architecture.
