Nice ambience and creative fruit rolls, but overall the food is average, some dishes bland, service is inconsistent, and prices feel high for what you get. Would I return? Probably not.nnService: Mixed experience. One server was very friendly and attentive, while another seemed rushed and even placed dishes on the table a bit abruptly. Ordering is done through a tablet, which sounds convenient, but every time you submit an order it says “Sit tight, your server is coming”—and the wait can feel long. Ordering can be frustrating if you want to add something right after sending an order, because when the screen displays “Sit tight,” you can’t make changes or add items unless you cancel the current order. Food also came out a bit slow, but to be fair, it was busy, so that’s understandable.nnFood: The menu looks big, but the variety feels limited. Rolls have about 25 options, yet many are repetitive with only minor ingredient changes and not much creativity. Sushi and rolls are packed with rice, which feels like a way to fill you up quickly. Octopus sashimi is limited to 2 pieces per person not mentioned upfront, only shown on the tablet after trying to order more. The octopus was sliced thin, lacked crunch, and didn’t feel fresh. Other sashimi was okay and tasted fresh. Tempura was disappointing—the batter was thick and oily. The rest of the food lacked flavor, and some dishes were even bland.nnOn the positive side, the fruit rolls are creative and refreshing, the sweet and sour chicken was pretty good, and there’s a decent selection of fruits and ice cream for dessert.nnAmbience: The decorations are nice, and booth seating gives privacy for families and couples. However, the place can get loud and feel a bit chaotic when it’s busy.nnPrice & Value: Lunch is about $27.95 per adult, and dinner ranges from $37.95–$40.95 kids and seniors slightly less. For the quality and experience, it feels a bit overpriced.nnOverall: If you’re looking for quantity over quality, this might work, but don’t expect standout flavors or creativity. The ambience is pleasant in design, but the noise and overall experience don’t quite justify the price.
It was my first time in this branch and despite the reviews about food, me and my partner still tried it giving the benefit of the doubt.nnFood: This one is tricky. At first, the sushi we ordered are good, but the second time we ordered, it tasted a bit bland than the first batch we only ordered twice. Also, their chicken seemed like it has been in the freezer for a long time before being cooked. It has an after taste and smell. At first I thought it was because of the sauce I ordered chicken fried rice, but I was hungry so I just eat it. After a while, my partner tried the sweet and sour chicken and told me it has an after taste too and smell. Again, I thought it was because of the sauce, but he insisted that it wasnt. So, I tried the chicken cutlet we ordered too and the same smell and after taste was there. So it wasnt in the sauce, it was the chicken. We give it back and told the servers about it since we only had one bite for the cutlet and sweet & sour chicken. We lost our appetite after that, so we just finished what we have already. After a few hours at home, me and my partner throw up and had diarrhea. He was okay after a day. As for me, eating a lot of chicken fried rice, I was throwing up and having diarrhea for 3 days. No fever so I just stayed home. I couldnt eat for few more days because I feel like I still gonna throw up. And I couldn't eat or even look at chicken right now.nnNote: NOT our FIRST TIME to not eat lunch to eat early dinner 4pm or 5pm in eat all you can. So we didn't eat anything that day to prepare to eat a loooot in this restaurant. We had biscuits in the morning and tea, that's it.nnService: The servers on our table is very nice and answers our questions with a smile. Some of them talka politely even without smiling so it still feels okay. They explained about the chicken saying the other people didn't say anything before us, but they weren't rude and said they will inform their chef. As for me, I didn't know the chicken could be bsd, I thought it was just how their cooking tasted like until I realized it was all the same for the chicken I ordered. Some people might not even realized it toonnAtmosphere: It was a bit dark, but relaxing. I'm okay with the lighting and sitting arrangement, at least where we were seated. I couldnt take a photo of our order because it didn't arrive in one go. And since we were hungry, we decided to start eating bit by bit to order more. Unfortunately, we didnt eat that much to pay that much because of losing our appetite after the chicken incident. This will be our first and last.nnNOTE: This comment is not to complain but to share our experience. If people read this review and still wanna eat there, then they can communicate with the restaurant staff if the food tasted the same and not be shy thinking it was just the sauce or how they cook stuff.
Finally plastic straws!!nAtmosphere is excellent as always, food is delicious, and service is outstanding!n10/10 would recommend for people looking for good food!
Had a great night. Went with a group of 5 we made a reservation but didn't need it on a Wednesday night. The food was great! No one had any complaints. I found it odd that the edamame was part of the cold salad bar as I have only ever had it hot, but it was still tasty. Loved the selection of deserts and Fruit for between sushi courses. Will go again.
Great spot for a quick and easy buffet. Our family enjoys sushi, and this place is our go-to. It’s usually not too crowded, and the sashimi is my husband’s favourite. My little one loves the fruit and rice sushi and was fascinated by the robot—even though it didn’t serve us this time.
