Fun and interesting cruises. You'll learn about the history of the Saint-Lawrence river, the Bolt castle (And even stop there with some cruises, well worth it, so beautiful). Bring your own drink and snacks as the ones served on the boat are way overpriced, but they can do it, you're stuck there right? A good experience for the whole family or just a romantic afternoon adventure with the one in your heart.

Hotel is newer construction and located well in Oshawa. Staff were exceptional, professional and always willing to help over and above the standard. Room was nice but had stains on carpets and suggest a good scrub of bathroom walls. Beds were clean and comfortable with plenty of pillows in soft and firm choices. Included continental breakfast was great in comparison to other hotels/inns. Pancakes, scrambled and hard boiled eggs, Turkey or pork sausage, bread or English muffins or bagels, juices, coffee/tea plus all necessary condiments and most importantly staff were present and dedicated to the breakfast and customer needs. Management should inspect plumbing fixtures such as shower faucet spouts etc...to ensure proper seals etc... I was very satisfied with our stay and would stay again and recommend to others.

Was not impressed that they hardly served decent food on the 5 hour cruise but I promised my Grandma we would go so we went. The town of Gananoque is just breathtaking, I loved the atmosphere and the history. The boat was a bit outdated but it did what it needed to do. They had $4.95 tuna which was two loafs of bread and some tuna mixture smacked in the middle. For the money you have to pay for the tuna, there was hardly any tuna on it. The server didn't know if the hot dogs they served was all beef or not so I didn't eat it. The chili we ordered was COLD and they had to heat it up in the microwave after we asked them to. They served mostly alcohol especially Caesars with the celery sticks in a cup in the open with flies flying around. They used their hands to take up the celery sticks which I thought was gross because they were touching everything else. On top of that one if the severs had a fly swatter swatting the flies that were flying around the food. GROSS!!! There was no live guide to tell us about the history of each place we passed over in the boat, just a recording on some outdated tv which you could hardly war sometimes because of the engine noise. The castle was just a dream, so beautiful, so romantic, I left there wishing I had someone to build me a castle too. The story was so sad, it breaks your heart. I will be going back to view more of the castle and the outer buildings hopefully next summer. At least I will be prepared of what to expect on the boat.

Took a 3 hrs cruise here in the evening. Very small but beautiful islands. And nice commentary about the history of area. Couldn't get any vegetarian option for sandwich.
