Unforgettable experience on the water, and I couldn’t have had a better time. From start to finish, the cruise provided a perfect way to see the beauty of the Thousand Islands up close. We took a smaller boat, which made for an intimate, peaceful ride that felt truly special as we glided through the islands and took in the scenery.nnThe highlight of the trip was definitely the view of Boldt Castle, which stands majestically on its own island and adds a touch of historical wonder to the experience. Our captain gave us some background about the castle, its history, and the love story behind it, which added depth to the experience. As we cruised along, we also saw plenty of other incredible sights, from charming cottages on tiny islands to expansive estates, all surrounded by the shimmering blue water.nnThe boat itself was comfortable, clean, and well-equipped for sightseeing. It was small enough to feel connected to the surroundings but sturdy and smooth for a relaxed journey. The staff were friendly, engaging, and clearly passionate about the area, which added to the welcoming atmosphere. They provided insights about the islands and pointed out notable landmarks, making sure we didn’t miss anything special.nnThe entire cruise was picturesque, with plenty of opportunities to snap photos of the natural beauty, historic architecture, and peaceful waterways. The views were nothing short of breathtaking, especially with the warm sunlight reflecting off the lake. It felt like a perfect mix of relaxation and exploration, and it’s an experience I’d recommend to anyone visiting the area.
The Thousand Islands ferry tour feels like sailing through a natural gallery. We admired charming houses and historic castles scattered across the islands, with autumn light reflecting on the calm water, adding a touch of warmth. During our visit, the weather was cloudy and windy, making it quite chilly, but aside from that, it was a truly amazing experience.
Great tour of 3 hours around the Thousand Islands! It was a good way to relax and enjoy the sightseeing! The only issue was the prices of the food on the boat. I know it's a good way to make profit, but 6$ for a popcorn was exaggerated. I had 10$ ready and I couldn't buy the popcorn and a drink! Besides that it was fun and the whole family enjoyed it. Parking was easy and only 9$.
Took the one hour cruise which bought us around islands nearby by Gananoque. Pretty relaxing and enjoyable trip with nice scenery. Also with seagulls accompanying you flying close by all the way.
Did the 1-hour cruise and kids loved it. Worth giving it a shot. Have 3 levels to enjoy, the top is just open and enjoy the beauty, second is nice view from covered area and the bottom level is simply refreshment with awesome view.
