i’ve been going to one fish two fish for a little while now, my experience were all well until i bought two oscars. one was very ill, as soon as i put him into my 150 gallon tank. im not new to fish keeping i then removed him as i noticed he wasn’t just being mopey as oscar’s tend to do in new tanks. he then started growing film on his side. he died within 3 days of me trying to save him. i called one fish two as i do know their policy’s but i thought just maybe they would replace him or even give me my money back cause this wasn’t my fault, the girl was so polite an said if she could she would but the policy is what the policy is an i understood that. i previously ordered a heater while picking up the oscar’s so i then headed into the store to pick the heater up, when the male basically blamed me an said he was fine in the store an basically said it was all my fault, the girl was an absolute angel but the male was so rude an didn’t even let me explain what happen an how my tank was set up. i have 9 fish tanks. i also qt my fish. the other oscar i purchased is still living a happy live so active an i now have severums and 2 more oscar’s , some geos an a acara that are doing absolutely amazing as i provided some photos below. if it was my fault that poor oscar’s passed away, why are my other fish doing absolutely great, therefore. that oscar was sick in the store. an it just got worse when i got him. i believe there polices should be more better an there costumer service should definitely be more welcoming , i will never be returning here again unless i absolutely have too.
Been patronizing this shop since it was over in Burnside. I've always been pleased with their knowledge and advice. My latest visit, there was only one person in the shop, and while he was busy, he still managed to make us feel like valued customers.
Fish were shipped on the bus. Packaging was great. Fish were healthy and all arrived live. The store and the bus terminal called the morning of delivery to ensure I knew to expect them. Fish are acclimating well and seem happy and healthy so far. We asked for medium sized Fish as we have one larger fish of the same breed and didn't want him to pick on the new ones. Most were decent med sized with only 3 of the 8 being on the smaller side.
What a fascinating and well stocked spot this is. Staff was very helpful and was able to purchase a lot of niche and neat critters.
My Java moss came with some hitchhikers. I now have some baby snails to watch while my tank cycles. Actually my tank is now full of life. I see mini invertebrates all over.
